It's hard to believe that, after 16 years of planning, our cruising life is about to begin! Here's an update on what's happening...
GETTING CLOSER!
It's hard to believe that June of 2022 is here, and with it the summer of our departure! After many years of planning, we're excited to start the next chapter of our life together. Many of you have known about our plans for a long time now - so where are we at with it all?
After selling the Tahoe house we took a fresh look at the world and, over a contemplative bottle of wine, we agreed that summer of 2022 was going to be our departure window. Given all the grim news of pandemics, war, pollution and politics, it seems like a great time to weigh anchor and get out there while we can!
Andy finished work in February (on 2/22/22 at 2:22pm) and has been working through many of the myriad tasks that need to be completed before we leave. Shan is due to finish work in July, and we're looking to cut the lines in August. There's much to do by then - watch this space!
